Suitable for ages 6 to 12 years

Live through the Blitz, suffer the deprivation, prepare to "make do and mend".

A gripping historic account graphically portraying the experiences of a London family from 1939-1945.

This is a truly lavish production fully researched and packed with important data and detail but delivered with much humour and audience participation.

Reviews/Comments

"We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the WW2 performance. Both the children and the staff thoroughly enjoyed the production."
Van Gogh Tutor Group, Grange School, Bedford.

"Thank you visiting our school today and giving the children such a wonderful experience. They were absolutely captivated by the part where Stanley's friend dies in an air raid and the part with Anne Frank. We also loved how interactive it was with the radio quiz and the children pretending to be the Home Guard. I would definitely book you again."
Siobhan McGann, Bisley C of E School

"I would just like to let you know how well the play and workshops went today. Please pass our thanks on to your actors they did a really good job and the children enjoyed the day very much. I look forward to working with your Company again, many thanks."
Sandra Renwick, Wood Ley School, Stowmarket

"I would like to thank your performers for their excellent production of the WWII play. The students were buzzing with excitement after the production. I unfortunately missed the performers at the end of the play as I was racing about all over the place, but could you please say a huge thank you to them both as they were superb. Our Chair of governors came in to watch and he felt that the performance was first class. I have included a couple of photographs of the event. Thank you so much."
Tracy T Napier, Stormont House School, Hackney

"I am very glad that we made you feel comfortable and welcomed! The day was so much fun for the kids and the staff. The children thoroughly enjoyed the performance and said that they loved inventing their own drama sketches. So, they were obviously inspired! I will spread the word about 'Aesop's'. Hope to see you again."
Verity Spooner, Hillsgrove Primary School, Welling

"I just wanted to say thank you to you and your actors for the fantastic WW2 performance. The children (and adults!) thoroughly enjoyed the show and we will definitely be looking into using your company again!"
Francesca Robinson, Meadow Vale Primary School, Bracknell

"Thank you very much for the performance. I think the children learnt a lot from it."
Jessie Brill, Humanities Co-ordinator, Carlton Primary School

"Many thanks for the World War II day last week. The kids had a great time, and many of the staff commented on the quality of your work. Please pass on our thanks to all concerned."
Simon Field, Assistant Head Teacher, Pear Tree Community Junior School

"The play showed how hard and frightening and dangerous it was during the blitz. The evacuation was very upsetting and scary that children came back to London while the war was still on. The pictures were very good too showing the food and rationing and efforts to stop Hitler. Overall it was exciting and funny."
Jess and Jenn,  St. Thomas More Primary School

"Congratulations! Superbly written and acted and how clever to inject some humour into such a dark subject. See you again next year."
Sue Smith, Head of History - St. Mary's CP School
