Suitable for ages 2 to 7 years

A real treat for the very young as they join our hero on his adventurous journey in search of somewhere better. Some amusing characters are encountered on the way but not all are as friendly as they may appear. Finally, our champion learns that there is no place quite like home.

Songs and music abound in this production designed specifically for Nurseries, Playgroups and Young Infants.

Reviews/Comments

"I would just like to say how much the students and staff enjoyed the performance of the Gingerbread Man on 4th March. I have received many positive comments from all who were present."
Tuslem Shah (Miss) ,The Forum School, Blandford Forum

"The children really enjoyed the performances, so did the staff. I've had great feedback from the parents too; children have been retelling the story to them at home. In class a small group of children began singing the Gingerbread man refrain and chasing each other around the nursery. Great fun was had by all! Thanks to your actors for a great performance."
Pauline Guevara, Winsor Primary School, Clapton

"Thank you for the photo's they are lovely, and thank you also for doing such a great job on Sunday, the children loved it. We will get the cheque to you asap, and if we find any funding for later in the year I will certainly contact you again."
Barbara Witham, Folkestone Town Centre Management

"Thank-you for a brilliant production last week-end. The feedback was fantastic. We were hoping to have you back again sometime next summer if possible? Do you ever do your performances outside? May be a thought if it was a nice day!?"
Rachel Popplestone, The Hub, Verwood

"On behalf of the children, I would just like to say thank you for the two wonderful performances that you did for the children. They really enjoyed seeing the story of 'The Gingerbread Man' come to life, and I have to say, I have never seen the Nursery children so quiet, attentive or enthralled. You were prompt and well- organised and the other members of Staff commented how good the actors' accents were. Thank you very much for a delightful day"
Miss Araba Annobil Knaphill Lower School Nursery

"Thank you so much for the super performance you gave of the Gingerbread Man. Our year 1 children couldn't stop talking about it. The acting and the humor in the play were fantastic. It has given us lots to discuss as part of our fairy tales unit. Thankyou for a super day"
Rebecca Dolan, Stewart Flemming Primary, London

"We all really enjoyed the performance today. Thank you so much. I have put some photos of the show on our blog under the Reception Area if you would like to show other schools"
Denise Johnson, Foundation Stage Co-ordinator, Wells Primary School

"All the teachers and pupils were singing your praises today. The children had something to discuss during play time. You absolutely gave us more than I expected. A reception class teacher wrote "It was a story the children already knew; lots of humour. Children then continued in the playground"
Mrs Irene Charidza, Literacy Co-ordinator, St Helen's RC Primary School

"Thanks a ton for putting on a great show at Sifth's birthday party"
Bamby

"Thank you - the children loved the show (so did the staff!)"
I Kendal, Headteacher, St Joseph's R.C. Primary School

"The Gingerbread Man was performed at our school for foundation
stage and KS1 children as part of our expressive arts week.  The actors
managed to whip all the children up to a frenzy and then within seconds there
was complete silence again.  As a staff we all agreed that your production
was the best we have ever experienced in our school and the children
produced some fantastic work as a result of your visit.  Watching the
children's faces while the production was underway was brilliant.  They were
spellbound and even those children who normally find concentrating a
challenge were fully engaged.  I would thoroughly recommend the Aesop
Touring Theatre Company.  It was money well spent and not only thoroughly
enjoyable for the children but also the adults!!  Thank you very much
"
Pam Gleeson - Leavesden Green JMI

"Can I say a very big thank you to everyone for the lovely perfomance that you gave the children at Stroud School today. It was perfect in every way - content, length of the performance, appropriateness for the entire age range from 3 - 7 year olds! It was splendid!"
Jayne Lunt - Head Head of Key Stage 1 - (Stroud School)
