Joanna Passmore
Joanna studied Theatre and French at The University of Wales, Aberystwyth and The Sorbonne, Paris.
Since graduating she has worked extensively in childrens' theatre and has enjoyed playing various pantomime roles, including Goldilocks in Goldilocks & the Three Bears, Alice Fitzwarren in Dick Whittington, Princess Jasmin in Aladdin and The Countess in George and the Dragon. She also appeared in a national tour of Little Red Riding Hood, which played at theatres up and down the country, including The Liverpool Empire, The Birmingham Alexandra and The Oxford Opollo, before leaving the UK for Germany to tour educational plays to primary and secondary schoolchildren with White Horse Theatre. She is delighted to be bringing her wealth of experience to Aesop's Touring Theatre.
'How important it is to teach our young people about their history and culture and what better way to achieve this than by capturing their attention and imagination through theatre, our most direct art form, which brings stories to life before their very eyes and ears."
